Bring your carefully coiffed canine to the Founder's Day Dog Show. Registration for the event begins at 8:00 a.m. at the Gazebo on Jennings Plaza, a.k.a. the City Square. The Show begins at 9:00 a.m.

Browse the many Arts and Crafts booths that will be set up on the Square for the Founder's Day Arts & Crafts Marketplace. From 3:00 p.m. - 11:30 p.m. Friday and 10:00 a.m. - 11:30 p.m. Saturday shop to your heart's content.

Charlestown's Founder's Day Parade always proves to be a terrific family event. The parade begins at Market and Park Streets around 10:30 a.m. and passes the reviewing stand on Market Street right below the Square. Find a seat early so you can see the floats as they pass by and catch any surprises that might be flying through the air.
