beginning at 5:30 pm, at the new Charlestown Arts & Enrichment Center, 999 Water Street, Charlestown, Indiana

For the fifth time in it's seven year history, the Charlestown Founder's Day Celebration will include an official PAGEANT; and for the first time, including a Little Miss and Junior Miss contest.

Founder's Day Scholarship Pageant:

 

* Contestants must be ages 15 - 20 years and a resident of Clark County, IN.

* Each contestant must be sponsored by an individual, club organization or business with a required $50.00 fee.  A photogenic and congeniality award will be awarded in addition.

* The contest winner will receive a $1,000 scholarship, trophy and crown.

* Evening Gown, Interview and Professional Wear Competitions

* Contestants will be judged on poise, personality, beauty and her ability to communicate.

* Applications must be postmarked by June 9th, 2007 (New Date), and are available, along with a complete list of pageant rules, regulations and information at the Charlestown City Hall, 304 Main Cross Street, Charlestown, Indiana.

Founder's Day Junior Miss Pageant:

 

* Contestants must be ages 10 - 12 years and a resident or go to school in Clark County, IN.

* Each contestant must be sponsored by an individual, club organization or business with a $35.00 fee.

* The contest winner will receive a $100 savings bond, trophy and crown.

* Judged in sportswear and formal wear.

* Contestants will be judged on poise, personality, beauty and beauty.

* Applications must be postmarked by June 9th, 2007 (New Date), and are available, along with a complete list of pageant rules, regulations and information at the Charlestown City Hall, 304 Main Cross Street, Charlestown, Indiana.

Founder's Day Little Miss Pageant:

 

* Contestants must be ages 7 - 9 years and a resident or go to school in Clark County, IN.

* Each contestant must be sponsored by an individual, club organization or business with a $35.00 fee.

* The contest winner will receive a $50 Toys-R-Us® gift certificate, and award.

* Contestants will be judged in formal attire and on personality on stage.

* Applications must be postmarked by June 9th, 2007 (New Date), and are available, along with a complete list of pageant rules, regulations and information at the Charlestown City Hall, 304 Main Cross Street, Charlestown, Indiana.

Prince and Princess Contest:

 

* Contestants must be ages 4 - 6 years on the day of the contest.

* $20.00 entry fee.  Each contestant will be given a small award and appear in the Festival Parade on Saturday, June 30th, 2007.

* Contestants will be featured in the festival parade.

* Contestants will be judged in formal attire and on personality on stage.

* Applications must be postmarked by June 9th, 2007 (New Date), and are available, along with a complete list of pageant rules, regulations and information at the Charlestown City Hall, 304 Main Cross Street, Charlestown, Indiana.
